Change in PPST Requirement
As of Janaury 1, 2004, students who have a composite score of 26 or higher on the ACT test will no longer be required to take the PPST in order to be admitted to the professional education program. They must be able to document that they do have the required ACT score. This only relates to the PPST and not any other tests.
Students are required to document 20 hours of professional meetings and 20 hours of Educational Community Service. The documents are available in BH364. Ask advisor for details.
The PPST is required to be admitted to Teacher Education. The PLT is required for licensure and is usually taken sometime after Block II.
Tips for PPST
